You have said yes and now it’s time to find your dress. This experience should be one of the most memorable moments of your wedding. After all your wedding day is the one day you get to dress up all day looking and feeling a million dollars.
So, finding ‘the one’ is why Elizabeth Hall Bridal is here. We pride ourselves on being more than just a bridal shop. We make it personal and special.
Your first appointment will be exciting. Bring a guest and an open mind. We will have a chat and find out what designs make you tingle.
After choosing your gowns you may try them on. Try to pick 6-8 as too many can be daunting. It often overwhelms your choices.
We have a range of sizes in our samples for you to try. Please remember these are samples and they rarely fit perfectly but, do not panic. We have pins and pegs to adjust. Your final gown will be perfect for you.
We can now try veils, tiara and any accessories you may wish to purchase. You can also browse our collection of accessories.
If you find your dress and accessories, all we ask is for a 50% non-refundable deposit to place the order. The rest will be payable once the order arrives. Due to the fact dresses are made to order, it can take up to 6 months so come early to avoid disappointment. We will book your styling appointment once your order arrives in store.
Your dress arrives, we call you. This is super exciting. We book you in to try on your gown but, please bear in mind it may need alterations.
Please bring your shoes to this appointment. This is where your dress starts to make its final appearance and where you will meet our seamstress to discuss any alterations. Although there is no obligation to use our service, you can if you wish have your gown altered by someone of your choice.
This appointment should take place, at most 10 weeks before your wedding and the final fitting once altered no later than 4 weeks before your wedding day. (earlier if your wedding is abroad).
Feel free to bring any accessories you may already have.
With your gown altered we invite you back for your final fitting. On the rare occasion you require further alterations do not panic. Bring your shoes, undergarments for the day if you wish and your dresser. They can be shown how to make your dress look perfect on the day.
We will steam your gown (material permitting) and veil if required
You may then take your gown and congratulations!
